How long have you been in the PHCP-PVF industry?

JC: I have been in the industry full-time for 10 years; I started when I was 18 years old.

What drew you into the industry?

JC: My father was a great inspiration for me as a child. I decided to follow in his footsteps into the plumbing field.

What is the most rewarding aspect of working in the industry?

JC: On the residential side, it’s the personal connections you make, the relationship between my clients and me. On the commercial side, it’s about making a large difference when solving plumbing problems at shopping plazas, malls, arenas, etc.

What is one thing you wish more people knew/understood about the PHCP-PVF industry?

JC: The importance of devices such as backflows, water pumps, sanitary/sewer lift stations and the hazards they cause if not maintained/serviced.

What has been the proudest moment in your career so far?

JC: My first sanitary sewer lift station installation and startup.

What is one thing most people don’t know about you?

JC: Music is my passion, I’ve played drums since I was six. Currently, I'm taking guitar lessons in my free time. I play privately at home when I have time.
