Bell & Gossett’s TECHNOFORCETM e-HVX/e-HVXR Packaged Booster System combines the trusted performance from its line of pre-engineered and fabricated packaged booster pump systems with the ultra-premium efficiency delivered by Xylem’s hydrovar X Smart Motor. The result is higher performance with a reduced footprint compared to legacy generation e-HV packaged systems, a reduction in space requirements of up to 30% by the e-HVXR and multi-master control allowing for complete system redundancy. All products in Bell & Gossett’s hydrovar X series offer built-in intelligence and safety, ultra-premium efficiency from the IE5 permanent magnet assisted synchronous reluctance motor and a compact, sustainability-forward design featuring market-leading motor technology that doesn’t use rare earth metals.

Tankless water heater with scale prevention technology
Lochinvar’s XCalibur premium condensing gas tankless water heaters deliver robust, on-demand performance and the flexibility to install in practically any residential setting, the company says. The XCalibur is available in three models: 160 MBH, 180 MBH and 199 MBH. Featuring X3 Scale Prevention, no annual scaling is required. No scale buildup means the heater maintains like-new performance longer and extends life up to three times versus unprotected units, the company says. The XCalibur also features a heavy-duty stainless-steel heat exchanger design, integrated recirculation pump and display, 22:1 turndown and optional accessory for Bypass Manifold (M) models and can be added at any time. The product is Energy Star-certified with 0.95 UEF.

Ball drain strainer
NIBCO announces new connection options for its existing Webstone Y-strainer products. The new Webstone lead-free, dezincification-resistant (DZR) strainers are available with new G-thread bodies that are compatible with a host of fittings and accessories for a custom installation, providing users with flexibility. Options include a forged DZR brass Y-strainer and the patented Pro-Pal Ball Drain Strainer; an integrated ball valve, capped hose drain, and Y-strainer that isolates, drains and strains any portion of a piped system. Also available are Y-strainers with sweat connections.

Since their release, Elkay’s ezH2O bottle-filling stations have been providing cleaner, healthier water to communities across the globe. Now, the ezH2O units have been made smarter. The new connected units offer fresh, filtered water while letting facility managers track stats across every unit. The units are ideal for large offices, airports, colleges and public facilities. Zurn Elkay’s plumbSMART software integrates with a variety of smart plumbing products. Campuses and large complexes can reduce their total cost of ownership by tracking bottles saved, filter status and water usage, and schedule flushing events to help keep lines cleaner. With the ability to monitor filter status across all units it's easier to plan and anticipate filter replacements. Select enhanced units also feature the quick filter-change wrapper for easy access to the filter for quicker changes. The FillSafe recognition will automatically update the LED light back to green when a new filter is installed. Retrofit options are available for any enhanced bottle filling station manufactured after April 2019. The retrofit kit allows for these units to be connected to a gateway that provides the connected features.
