The JM-3055 from General Pipe Cleaners packs plenty of punch to clear grease, sludge, sand, ice and other stubborn stoppages from long, outside 4” to 8” lines, the company says. The machine’s 3000 psi, 5.5 gpm pump unleashes high-pressure water streams that pulverize clogs — and flush them away. On-demand Vibra-pulse technology helps the hose slide easily down long runs — and around tight bends. Easily maneuvered into position, the JM-3055 sports a removable 300’ capacity hose reel mounted on a robust, tubular chassis with four, flat-free foam core tires and a wheel brake. Standard safety features include a thermal relief valve to protect the pump from heat damage, a backflow check valve and inlet filter. The JM-3055 also comes complete with toolbox and spray wand with trigger.

The new Honeywell Home T10+ Smart Thermostat Kits with RedLINK 3.0 offer additional control over three types of indoor air quality (IAQ) equipment simultaneously. Resideo's proprietary RedLINK 3.0 technology and Equipment Interface Module (EIM) enables simple set up and a customizable solution for each customer from a single device. The kits include, or can work with various accessories, such as the following: Honeywell Home T10+ Smart Thermostat; EIM; Wireless Smart Room Sensor which extends the reach of the thermostat beyond one hallway to detect temperature, humidity and occupancy in rooms, and automatically adjusts the smart thermostat based on preferences and schedule; Wireless Outdoor Sensor, which provides real-time, outdoor temperature and humidity readings to help balance IAQ inside the home; Return and Supply Air Sensor offers real-time temperature readings in ductwork for equipment protection; and Floor/Slab Sensor monitors the floor temperature for radiant, in-floor heating applications (sensor not included in the kits).

Ambient hydronic heat pump
The Ambient Air-to-Water Hydronic Heat Pump features a 5-ton capacity (rated at 60 MBH) and provides reliable space heating with outdoor temperatures as low as -13° F. Offering a COP of up to 3.95 (395% efficiency) and delivering supply temperatures of up to 140° F, the heat pump uses environmentally friendly R-32 refrigerant for high efficiency and low global warming potential. Installation is simple, whether the monoblock heat pump is installed in a new residence or is retrofitted into an existing hydronic system. It’s also easy to install as a stand-alone heat source or in dual-fuel applications. The Ambient Heat Pump is available with an optional dual-fuel controller for applications in extremely cold climates. The controller, as part of a kit, allows the installer to seamlessly integrate the heat pump with a new or existing fossil fuel or electric boiler. No additional venting or re-sizing of existing hydronic piping is necessary.

Smart water leak sensor
StreamLabs, a Chubb company, announced the launch of Scout, a new point-of-leak sensor distinguished by its small size and contemporary design, DIY setup and ability to be used independently or as part of a StreamLabs leak detection system. Scout alerts homeowners, tenants or commercial property managers in real-time to the presence of water, and also sends alerts for fluctuating temperature and humidity levels that may indicate a leak or the risk of frozen pipes. Scout is self-installed in minutes, with no pipe-cutting required and is compatible with the StreamLabs’ Control, which can automatically turn off water if a leak or freeze conditions are detected. In addition to an audible alarm, Scout sends real-time alerts via Wi-Fi to the StreamLabs mobile app and the StreamLabs Concierge web app. A network of Scouts can be placed in basements, laundry rooms, behind toilets, under sinks or near water heaters for early leak detection, as well as placed next to sump pumps or in air conditioning condensate pans to alert you to pooling or dripping water.
