TMV touchless faucets
Chicago Faucets announced the launch of its new HyTronic TempShield Series touchless faucets. This new product line integrates an ASSE 1070-certified thermostatic mixing valve (TMV) directly into the spout, setting a new standard for safety and efficiency in healthcare patient and staff areas as well as public restroom environments, the company says. The HyTronic TempShield Series offers three spout designs: Gooseneck, Contemporary and Traditional to meet specifier or facility manager specifications.

NIBCO announced new Webstone Press XLC fittings, a full selection of large-diameter adapters, couplings, tees, elbows, flanges and caps. These lead-free fittings are available in sizes 2½" through 4" and are compatible with popular Press XLC tools. Options include a complete assortment of reducing sizes and threaded or street end connections in either copper or forged dezincification-resistant brass. In all, 90 SKUs have been added.

Rheem announced design upgrades to its award-winning ProTerra Hybrid Electric Heat Pump Water Heater line. The new design enhancements significantly reduce installation time for ProTerra — the most efficient hybrid electric water heater on the market. the company says. Available in 40-, 50-, 65- and 80-gallon sizes, the ProTerra models include quick install elements such as new top-of-the-tank water connections and a duct-ready design. Built-in Demand-Response-Ready EcoPort and Wi-Fi powered by Rheem’s EcoNet technology provide additional smart features. The built-in LeakGuard system helps protect homes with a 360-degree leak detection and auto water shut-off valve. ENERGY STAR 5.0 certified, ProTerra uses up to 75% less energy compared to a standard electric water heater and qualifies for available local rebates and up to $2,000 in tax credits, Rheem says.

Radiant Barrier Tubing
Zurn PEX Performa Radiant Heat Barrier Tubing is 30% more flexible than other barrier tubing products, making it easier to handle and less time-consuming to install, the company says. It has an integral oxygen barrier and complies with ASTM F-876/F-877 and CSA B137.5. Performa is packaged on Zurn’s exclusive QickCoil packaging which maintains a larger diameter coil for shipping and storage. This minimizes the “coil memory” so that Performa lays flatter when it is uncoiled. Performa tubing is suitable for a full range of radiant applications in residential, commercial and industrial applications. These include radiant heating, radiant cooling and snow and ice melting.
