PEX potable water solution

The Viega PureFlow system is a complete PEX potable water solution engineered for installation in commercial buildings. Designed to reduce callbacks and streamline labor, PureFlow uses specialized press tools to create connections quickly, to minimize installation variability. The system includes PEX tubing, fittings and valves that undergo quality and performance testing. Asa PEX system offering press to press transition fittings, PureFlow allows transitions from PEX to copper using the same tool. With a full range of components, PureFlow aims to provide contractors with an alternative to traditional piping methods.

Condensing boilers

U.S. Boiler Company has expanded its line of Citadel condensing boilers and volume water heaters. The Citadel is now available in seven capacities from 399 to 1500 MBH, all with 10:1 turndown. AHRI certified and rated up to 97% thermal efficiency (98% for water heater), the Citadel is available in natural gas and propane configurations. Citadel boilers aim to conserve mechanical room space and simplify installation. They can be stacked two-high without the need for accessory racking systems. Zero side and top clearance optimizes heating capacity per square foot of mechanical room space.

High-efficiency commercial gas water heater

Bradford White announced the launch of the eF Series Turbo. Available in 119- and 125-gallon configurations, the eF Series Turbo includes input options of either 399,999 or 499,999 BTU/hr. Engineered for maximum heat transfer, the unit employs Turbo flues to deliver thermal efficiencies of 97% at 399 kBTU/ hr and 96% at 499 kBTU/hr. One feature is the down-fired premix power burner, which is paired with a smart control system. This combination ensures burner modulation with turndown ratios of up to 6:1, helping to reduce fuel consumption even as the unit delivers consistent temperatures.

NIBCO INC. announced Webstone E-X-P Tankless Water Heater Service Valve Kit enhancements. The line now exclusively features lead-free hot-water and boiler-service pressure relief valves, with redesigned forged brass construction. The E-X-P Ultra-Compact press kits now include single O-ring press fittings, shortening installation lay length by over half an inch, and feature the new snug-fit gasket design. Enhanced products are suitable for plumbing and heating applications.

Designed for residential and light commercial technicians, this cordless recovery machine transfers refrigerant out of HVAC systems so that repairs can be made. Kitted with Milwaukee’s M18 REDLITHIUM FORGE HD12.0 battery pack, the recovery machine transfers up to 10 pounds of refrigerant with optimized speed and runtime. Designed for modern refrigerants, the Recovery Machine is A2L compatible. Pairing this new Recovery Machine with the existing M18 FUEL 5 CFM Vacuum Pump delivers fully cordless service calls, Both solutions are A2L compatible to meet the new refrigerant standards.
