Electric FR-D800 inverters
Mitsubishi Electric has launched its FR-D800 series inverters. With a focus on user-friendliness, the FR-D800 inverters feature a door-style surface cover and integrated wiring to make installation faster and easier. A new USB Type-C interface lets users set parameters directly from a PC without powering up the inverter. Parameters can be set without needing to power the inverters main circuit The inverters can help save energy with advanced synchronous motor control, which reduces power consumption and cuts operating costs. Its high-efficiency motor drive and lower standby power consumption also contribute to a reduced carbon footprint.
AERCO
EV indirect water heater line
AERCO announced the expansion of its SmartPlate EV indirect water heater line with the addition of new high-flow models, capable of supporting domestic hot water loads up to 140 gallons per minute. Designed to pair with condensing and electric boilers – including seamless integration with AERCO’s Benchmark and Benchmark E boilers – the new SmartPlate EV models offer greater performance flexibility. The SmartPlate EV line is engineered to complement low-temperature hydronic systems. By using boiler water temperatures as little as 5°F above the required DHW set point, SmartPlate EV reduces radiation losses and drives overall system efficiency.

The new line will meet a variety of heating needs, making it a versatile and efficient choice for homes and businesses. The FT Boiler Series features advanced condensing technology, ensuring superior performance with up to 95% AFUE. Additionally, Rheem has made installation, operation and maintenance easier by incorporating an intuitive full-color touchscreen display, four zone control capability, safety features and a compact design.

Residential hybrid electric heat pump water heater
Bradford White’s newly launched AeroTherm Series G2 residential hybrid electric heat pump water heater is the company’s most efficient hybrid unit yet, with a UEF up to 4.20. The ENERGY STAR certified water heater features five distinct operational modes, allowing the user to achieve their desired performance and energy savings through optimized settings. The AeroTherm G2 can function in heat pump only, electric only, hybrid standard, hybrid plus and vacation modes. The unit also features the ICON System LED digital display with StartGuard® for “dry-fire” protection and built-in connectivity to the Bradford White Wave app, which provides remote control functionality. With 50-, 65- and 80-gallon models available and a smaller installation footprint requiring zero-inch clearances on the sides and rear, there is an AeroTherm G2 heat pump water heater for many different residential applications.

QuickFitting’s expanded offerings come as municipalities nationwide escalate permit fees and building owners impose stricter open-flame restrictions on construction sites. QuickFitting's current portfolio includes its SurePress press fittings, a line of press fittings with visual confirmation of pressed connections, plus push-to-connect options in lead-free brass and 304 stainless steel. The SurePress system allows contractors to eliminate the use of torches across residential and light commercial installations while providing visual verification of proper connection.

VRF heat pump
Fujitsu General America introduced the AIRSTAGE J-7s line of VRF heat pumps. Utilizing the low GWP R-32 refrigerant, the new models offer installation flexibility, efficiency and more compact cabinets than Fujitsu’s previous single-phase offerings. The J-7S line includes two-, three- and four-ton models designed for commercial and light commercial applications. Certified energy efficiency ratings reach up to 15.7 for EER2, 22.2 for SEER2, 11.3 for HSPF2, and 4.64 for COP2. Optimized for a wide range of climates, the systems operate reliably in outdoor temperatures from -15°F to 70°F in heating mode, and 23°F to 122°F in cooling mode.

Triple offset valves
Milwaukee Valve announced the new TØV series of triple offset valves. Its triple offset geometry creates valves that deliver bidirectional, zero-leak sealing under higher pressures and temperatures. This design makes TØV triple offset valves firesafe, corrosion resistant and maintenance free, too. Triple Offset is a design feature in butterfly valves where the valve stem, disc and sealing surface are all positioned at different off-center angles. Combining these three offsets produces a highly precise, bubble-tight seal with minimal operating friction — even at high pressures. TØV triple offset valves pass API Standard 598 for no-leak, bidirectional shutoff you can trust. In offset one, the stem is offset behind the seat axis to provide complete sealing contact.
